Where should I park my car when playing Pickleball at Mission Bay Resort?
There is ample street parking or neighboring public lot (Playa Pacifica Park) with a short walk across the grass to Pickleball court # 3 & #4.
Is Open Play / Drop In FREE?
No, there is an $8 fee per player to be paid at the courts after signing a waiver with the court monitor.
Is there Open Play on weekends?
No, Open Play is during the week from 1pm-5pm
Are there lights at the courts?
Yes, we have lights for evening play that ends at 9pm.
Do you have to be staying at Mission Bay Resort to reserve a court or participate in Open Play / Drop In?
No, you can join us for Open Play/Drop in play at $8/player paid at the courts after signing a waiver with the court monitor. Another option is to reserve your court for 2 hours for $32.
What are the hours at the courts?
Monday-Friday: 9am-9pm
Saturday & Sunday: 9am-5pm
Where can we use the bathrooms?
Pickleball players are to use the bathrooms by the Ballroom Conference Center inside the main hotel and not the Spa.
What are some of the basic rules at the pickleball courts?
- Shirts are to be worn at all times
- Court shoes need to be worn
- NO dogs on the courts
- NO open containers or food on the courts
What is the cost of reserving a court?
$32 for 2 hours for 4 players and additional players are charged $8/player by the court monitor. Maximum is 6 players per court.
Can we bring food onto the court?
No, food and open containers onto the court.
